Why is marking in APSC 100/101 so bad? I'm trying to phrase it in as non-snarky a way as I can. I'm genuinely curious what there might be to it that we as students can't imagine or don't understand.
Later in APSC 101 I asked my team to bullshit the presentation cuz we are scoring low anyways, and spend the saved time to study for the finals instead. My APSC 100 cardboard chair supported 400lbs, 29seconds to assemble, and we even found an visual art student to guide us to decorate it with paints. And it scored ~70％ one course in programming (e.g., similar to UBC CPSC 103, CPSC 110 or APSC 160) one course in probability and/or statistics (e.g., similar to UBC STAT 200 or STAT 241/251 or STAT 302), AND; one course in calculus (e.g., similar to UBC MATH 100) or one course in linear algebra (e.g., similar to UBC MATH 221).
