Dec 13, 2017 · I recently purchased an E3D and I am having a specific oozing problem with printing PETG (I have not printed any other kind of PETG or filament with this hotend). During internal travel moves of an individual piece, I am getting oozing regardless of what settings I adjust in Cura.

PETG Print Settings We recommend printing our PETG settings at roughly 220C-245C depending on your extruder. The PETG bed temperature works best around 70-75C, a few degrees hotter perhaps for those first few layers. The brand of PETG I am using is the microcenter version (which I hear is rebranded eSun) maybe I will try bumping up the temp a bit and see what it does.. I did notice at 220c you could pull the layers apart so it just might be too cold.. also .. CURA doesn't give you a lot of "expert" settings even in expert mode.. I was printing with PETG with quite some success for a few days until I ran into a lot of issues. So I began to heavily (very heavily) tweaks my settings until i realise it had nothing to do with it ! Since then I've discovered the extruder stepper driver was faulty. Problem now is that I've modified my settings so much that I can't get a print ...and yes, it's not material for blazing speeds like pla and manufacturers vary significantly for print temp, they add different additives to lower the printing temp (normally petg is 250+ to drop it down to 220C you need to modify it a lot) and usually they lie about temp range so you have to go to the very top of the range (or hotter) to get proper results

I need a petg Cura profile so I can upload it to a compiled aio guide for troubleshooting the Ender 3. Currently have a great PLA profile supplied by @EnderGuy , and tested from some others and myself, and find it works very well.

I printed my first test cube with same cooling settings as for PLA, and it separated into single layers as soon as I tried to remove it from the bed. Without fan, everything is OK.
Aug 24, 2016 · I've recently purchased a Wanhao Di3 v2.1 and I've added some of the essential mods (such as z braces) and I bought some PETG to print the DiiiCooler and glass mounts (so that they can withstand higher temps). The DiiCooler printed, but was very stringy. I have played with temps and print speed, but this seems to make minimal difference for me (215-235 C). Has anyone got a profile for Cura ...
